Adapted from 18 move Taiji Qigong, created in Shanghai China in 1982. The exercises combine elements of Qigong movement and breathing exercises along with traditional Yang Form.
Shibashi is a simple exercise method involving several exercises with repetitions using full body movement, good posture and abdominal breathing.
The results are a feeling of deep relaxation, stress relief, increased physical and mental wellbeing.
People of all ages and physical conditions have benefited greatly from the classes….see for yourself!

“Once we were able to meet during lockdown, I took the decision to get some local people together outside, to once again enjoy Taichi. Once we were again allowed inside, Helen supported me in arranging a new Taichi Shibashi class. The class has now become very popular, regularly having 40 people on a Wednesday. This has led to me setting up a second class on Mondays. Without the support of Helen and The Hub team, I would never have achieved this goal and the local community would never have met up again with their extended family. I feel so humbled to be part of The Hub and can’t thank you all enough.”
